Manzur, et al., v. Missouri State University
We have filed a class-action suit on behalf of current and former
women’s athletes at Missouri State University. The University has
a long history of not providing equal opportunities to participate in
intercollegiate athletics to its women students. Despite its
noncompliance with Title IX, the University decided to eliminate its
women’s tennis team. We are seeking a declaratory judgment and
injunctive relief. The case is set for trial in February 2007.
