Spring Semester: 10 - 12 hours/week, Credit available.
Duties
- Research legislative issues relating to civil rights and civil liberties
- Track bills and legislation
- Draft legislative analysis, fact sheets and other lobbying tools
- Contact legislators concerning legislation
- Assist executive director and lobbyist in lobbying activities

to Jefferson City to lobby legislators, and participate in other
special intern activities: hear speakers on civil rights and civil
liberties issues, tour a jail, attend court hearings, etc.
